The time is fast approaching for ChiBus Editorship to be handed over to the bright-eyed and bushy tailed willing members of the Class of 2011. More information on how that will work will be sent out in the next few days.

As we sit here in the ChiBus office (and argue over who said he'd do what, what's undone, what might not be done in time and who will eventually have to do what), we wonder if we've made positive strides during our stint as Editors-In-Chief. We wonder if over the last year we've improved this publication and made it so that people are more likely to pick up their fortnightly copy of ChiBus from their mailfolders and give it a read rather than throw it straight into the recycle bin. Yes, we know that happens. We'll take an attrition rate that's even one point less than what the previous editors had.

We believe quality has improved and the process for getting the issue out in time has become considerably smoother over the last year. No longer do we have to ask significant others to come proofread the final document at 10:00pm just so we can get it to the publishers before midnight or have to listen to noise of the Harper Centre cleanup crew on nights when we missed the midnight deadline (I must say that they have some really cool cleaning equipment). Bringing in our expert InDesign user (better known as our Layout Editor Yael) was one of the best things we did. We were also quite lucky to have a great group of people who gave their time to write, critique, edit, encourage or even pop in to C26 to proofread so we'd get ChiBus out in time. We'll say our Thank You's soon. But know we are grateful and we appreciate you all.

We have a good issue for you this week with regular articles from JK and Andrew, Coverage from the DuSable Conference, pictures from Beth's surprise Baby Shower organized by Shriya '10 and more.

As usual, feel free to send your articles, comments, pictures, rants, poetry, news, etc to chibusmag@gmail.com. Enjoy!
