I pluck not the roses
Pluck not them none
That grow by my garden
Season by season.
Pluck them for whom
When my love's love is no me
Share them with whom
When my care is for none else.
Do, I water them daily
Do, I watch them silly
No, not in wait to pluck them for her someday
But to see her in them, time and again.
