Every age has its warriors that rise to confront insurmountable odds. The Spartans at Thermopylae, the Jewish Zealot rebels at Masada, Davy Crockett and the Texans at the Alamo. These are the men who sacrifice their bodies to turn an enemy's ultimate victory into a pyrrhic one that dooms them to the ashbin of history.

At Joe's on Weed, this generation's warriors emerged, clad in the brilliant armor of medium-sized 2008 random walk jerseys (except for Ryan Jumbo Giant, who sported a small). A desperate pleaa from Chris Johnny Walker, inspired Sir "You doing a heck of a job" Brownie to marshal his men to the field of battle.

In assembling his elite cohort, Sir "You doing a heck of a job" Brownie followed a simple credo: "Get big drinkers…"

And so it was. Men such as Amrit "nothing but a Hassle", Ryan Jumbo Giant, Adam "the Polish" Killa', and Mark "Just Lookout" Stevens rallied to Sir "You doing a heck of a job" Brownie's standard. It was a rag tag bunch, full of the meanest sonsafabitches from the west…side of Chicago.

Like Alexander and Julius Caesar, Sir "You doing a heck of a job" Brownie led from the front. And what a job he had to do. While he had an amazing group, they needed training, discipline, and beer. All of their oppoennets had been training together for years, but Sir "You doing a heck of a job" Brownie 's men had just signed up. In a warm-up match, they fell in two straight matches to the "Presidentes," who could not assemble enough team unity for all members to wear the proper uniforms (for shame Tank, for shame…)

Sir "You doing a heck of a job" Brownie fought back; he gathered his comrades. He reminded them about the great sacrifices they had made to get there, about the lives that were at stake, and about how the free beer would stop if they lost the next match.

He redeployed his lines to take on the Government's champions. The Government was cruel and corrupt, and not only set the rules, but brought in a ringer, the "Freight Train." "Freight Train" lined up against Mark "Just Lookout" Stevens.
